Our heavy duty pull-out racks with 70% or 100% pull-out are available with 3, 4 or 5 drawers. The drawers have a continuous steel bottom and a roll-off edge on all 4 sides, so that the stored goods have a safe hold on the drawers. A rubber pad on each drawer further protects the stored goods from damage. The KROG heavy-duty pull-out rack is thus flexibly suitable for holding heavy components, Euro standard containers, tools and other parts.
OPTIMAL USE IN COMBINATION WITH OVERHEAD CRANE
The pull-out rack in combination with an overhead crane is optimal for storing heavy components or tools. Components and tools stored in a KROG pull-out rack can be 100% pulled out of the rack and then removed with the help of an overhead crane. Moving by forklift or ant on pallets within the plant is therefore no longer necessary - an important factor in reducing accidents within the plant.
FLEXIBLE AND SPACE-SAVING DRAWER DESIGN
The drawers in the KROG heavy-duty pull-out shelving do not rest on crossbars, but are hooked into the lateral upright profiles. This saves the height of a traverse of approx. 10 cm per drawer level and additional storage space is gained. Furthermore, a great deal of attention was paid in the design to ensuring that the drawers have the lowest possible installation height and are still extremely stable. This also helps to make optimum use of the available storage space.
Each drawer is automatically locked when pushed in and can be easily unlocked when pulled out by the handle. In addition, the pull-out racks are equipped with a safety lock that prevents multiple drawers from being pulled out at the same time. If necessary, the drawers can be moved in the distance of the existing hole grids. This only requires an adjustment of the safety interlock.
OPTIMAL USE OF SPACE WITH KROG PULL-OUT RACKS
In contrast to storage in a standard pallet rack, the goods stocked in a KROG pull-out rack are within direct reach of the employees at all times. This eliminates the need for an ant or forklift to pull out pallets to remove individual parts. Compared to storage in floor spaces, the heavy-duty pull-out racks allow significant space optimization. Each drawer can hold goods - loose or in containers - stored on a Euro pallet. In the case of a pull-out rack with 4 drawers, this corresponds to the storage of goods that would otherwise be stored on 4 pallets. And this on a footprint that is only slightly larger than a Euro pallet.
